Saffery has strengthened its partnership with the promotion of three directors to partner, effective 1 April 2026.
Jake Stanmore has been promoted to partner in the Film, TV & Video Games Team. Based in the firm’s London office, Jake has extensive experience advising clients ranging from independent film and TV production companies to major US studios, including some of the largest productions made in the UK. He joined Saffery in 2016 from a big four firm and has since advised clients in all aspects of statutory reporting and financing, with specific expertise in accessing the creative sector incentives. His portfolio of clients also includes commissioning producers, rights holders, video game developers and other corporate entities. Alongside this, Jake spearheads various initiatives within the high-growth team, focusing on innovation, quality and operational efficiency.
Harry Kendall has been promoted to partner in Edinburgh, where he advises a broad range of clients in the corporate sector, as well as landed estates and not‑for‑profits. Harry joined the firm as a trainee in London in 2016 and moved to Edinburgh four years ago, where he works closely with boards and senior management teams, supporting organisations on governance, financial reporting and audit quality in increasingly complex and regulated environments. He serves on the leadership team of the firm’s Audit Efficiency Group, helping to enhance audit quality across the firm, and is also a member of the firm’s national Real Estate Practice Group and Not‑for‑Profit Practice Group.

Darren Drake, Managing Partner at Saffery, comments:
“Our new partners reflect the strength and depth of talent across our firm. Over the past decade, Harry and Jake have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the high standard of client service that defines Saffery. As we continue to grow our capabilities and expand our presence across the UK, their leadership will play an important role in shaping the next phase of the firm’s development.
“Their promotions are well deserved and recognise not only their technical expertise, but also the leadership and integrity they bring to our teams and clients. I am delighted to welcome them to the partnership and look forward to their continued contribution to the firm’s success.”
Saffery Ireland promotes Peter Boyle to Partner
Peter joined Saffery in 2023 as a Director in the tax department, following several years at a Big 4 firm. A qualified Associate of the Chartered Accountants of Ireland (ACA) and Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), he has quickly become a key member of the firm’s growing Irish tax practice.
Peter advises Irish corporates, international groups, and private individuals on a broad range of domestic and international tax matters. His areas of expertise include corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, wealth and succession planning, property transactions, and Irish tax compliance.
He also has significant specialist experience in Ireland’s creative sector tax incentives, including the Section 481 film tax credit, Section 487A unscripted programme tax credit and the digital gaming tax credit, and advises production companies and digital studios on the complex tax and accounting requirements relevant to these industries.
Speaking on Peter’s promotion, Sinéad McHugh, Partner at Saffery Ireland, said:
“Peter’s promotion to Partner is a reflection of both his exceptional technical ability and the strong relationships he builds with clients. He has made a significant contribution to the expansion of our tax offering, particularly in specialist sectors such as film, television, unscripted programmes and digital gaming. We are delighted to welcome him to the partnership and look forward to his continued impact as we grow our presence in Ireland.”
Peter’s appointment further strengthens Saffery’s senior leadership team in Dublin and underscores the firm’s ongoing commitment to expanding its expertise and client offering in the Irish market.
