Looking ahead

Fenella Martin-Redman

Responsible Business Partner and Chair of the Responsible Business Cornerstone

In 2025, we’re focused on deepening our impact and embedding responsible business across every part of Saffery.

Our key priorities include:

  • Rolling out our new social impact strategy, including identifying a charity partner for each office, aligning volunteering with learning and development opportunities, evolving our charitable giving, and identifying new charity partnerships,
  • Identifying our first social impact KPIs to measure and guide our efforts,
  • Advancing our climate commitments, with data gathering and analysis underway to support a robust, externally verified pledge, and
  • Expanding our ED&I work by rolling out inclusive leadership training to all managers and leaders and reviewing our first ED&I strategy as we shape our 2030 ambitions.

We have a lot of other plans for 2025-26, which include continuously hearing and learning from our colleagues and clients on what matters to them, supporting our clients and those in our communities with their responsible business objectives, and continuing to deliver on our substantial ED&I strategy to ensure Saffery is an inclusive and impact-driven environment.

We know there’s a lot we need to do to really embed responsible business across our firm, but that we’re starting from a strong foundation, in a strong business built on ethics and integrity. We have a lot of active support from our senior leadership and colleagues, and we’re always mindful of the wider landscape we’re in, and the challenges firms face as they work hard to live their responsible business values. This is not an easy journey, but it is a worthwhile one, and one we’re committed to, to share our learnings on, and to grow with.

We want to build a truly sustainable business that continues to support our colleagues, clients and communities for many years to come.

We can’t wait to share what comes next.
